PRÁCTICA/POÉTICA
Mi práctica sonora, textual y performática es un proceso de investigación que se desdobla a partir del azar, la escucha profunda y la idea de residuo en donde sucede el poema como “gesto visceral” que propaga una continuidad energética de un lenguaje infinito.
Así, el performance se convierte en una zona de traducción de mis procesos conceptuales, a través de lo que llamo "poética de la fricción," utilizando e improvisando con distintos elementos principalmente sonoros pero también visuales y utilizando el cuerpo. Cada performance es distinto y emerge azarosamente en el espacio, muchas veces colaborando con otrxs artistxs, musicxs, poetxs.
Usualmente genero situaciones para construir capas semánticas y simbólicas de sonido/sentido con objetos como piedras, hojas, plumas, loops de voces, respiración, grabaciones de campo, objetos encontrados, y poemas expandidos con ruido, voz, texto, susurros, sintetizadores, hidrófonos, pedales, y otros instrumentos, a veces integrándose con proyecciones visuales e interacciones colectivas.

My sound, text and performance-based practice is a process of research that unfolds through chance, deep listening and the idea of residue in which the poem occurs as a “visceral gesture,” propagating an energetic continuity of infinite language.
Thus, performance becomes the translation zone of my conceptual processes, through what I call a “poetics of friction,” using and improvising with a variety of elements which are principally related to sound, but that can also be visual, while employing the body. Every performance is different and emerges in space through chance, oftentimes collaborating with other artists, musicians and poets.
Usually, I create situations that construct semantic and symbolic layers of sound/significance with objects such as stones, leaves, feathers, voice loops, breathing, field recordings, found objects and poems that are expanded with noise, voice, text, whispers, synthesizers, hydrophones, pedals and other instruments, oftentimes integrated with visual projections and collective interactions.
